Instructors - the BSAC EDI Course

I have just completed the BSAC Equality, Diversity and Inclusion on-line course for Instructors. It only takes 15 mins to do.

I was prompted to do it as on the BSAC home page for Instructors they kindly request all instructors take the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) language awareness eLearning course. This is a basic introduction and awareness module on equality, diversity and inclusion focusing on the language we use to ensure no one feels excluded, belittled or discriminated against. It is useful and does make you think about the words and terminology we have perhaps commonly used in the past but which might now cause offence.

The link, if you need it, is here: https://www.bsac.com/training/online-learning/bsac-elearning/sdc-elearning/equality-diversity-and-inclusion-edi-awareness/

Thank you.

Viz not brilliant but acceptable, although having navigated past the van door, to the Vauxhall (?) and then to the first of the MGBGTs, the sediment in the water made using lights/torches a bit awkward causing a flaring effect. The video shows the 2nd MGBGT we came across and had better viz.

That said mission accomplished and then the return lengthy swim back via the cockpit - arriving at the steps at 61mins to find a gaggle of rebreather divers climbing out.…
