A hunt for the Stoney Cove MGBTs
Not a particularly nice day last Thurs (12 Jan) at Stoney, but the car park was certainly not full and with dryish conditions to get changed we - Nick, Sally and I - got ready. The plan being to nav across to the MGs with an anticipated down time of an hour. We all had on twin sets, Sally had her camera assembly/kit and I had my GoPro! Viz not brilliant but acceptable, although having navigated past the van door, to the Vauxhall (?) and then to the first of the MGBGTs, the sediment in the water made using lights/torches a bit awkward causing a flaring effect. The video shows the 2nd MGBGT we came across and had better viz.
That said mission accomplished and then the return lengthy swim back via the cockpit - arriving at the steps at 61mins to find a gaggle of rebreather divers climbing out. Hot drinks and a tasty snack ended the trip.
